Chai is a delicious spice tea that one can make at home with a little bit of time.
To begin with boil fresh ginger with cracked cardamom pods (note you can use the powdered cardamom just use a bit less. Temper the amount of ingredients for the size of the batch you are making. Boil for about 10 minutes, then add loose black tea, simmer for another 7 minutes or longer depending how strong you like your tea. Then strain the tea leaves and spices out leaving you with the base for the tea. Heat with milk about a 75% tea to 25% milk ratio add honey or sugar to your liking and enjoy a perfect cup of homemade chai.

I absolutely love chai but never order it at the shops because its pretty expensive. Now that I can make it myself, I'll get to have it more often. Thanks!
I like chai because its both sweet and a little spicy. Its really comforting.
